3 Bedroom House in Nukuhau, Taupo
A large 3 bedroom house, on a 800 sqm fenced property, each bedroom with a Queen bed. There is space to relax both inside and out, incl a private patio at the front and deck off the lounge at the back. Views from the lounge are toward the Waikato River and Central Taupō. The deck is a great spot to take in the summer concerts at the Amphitheatre. A sun-filled property, with established trees adding to its privacy, and we are continuing to plant out young native trees. There is a large shed to lock away your bikes/adventure gear. It is a short distance to the lake, boat ramp, river walk to Huka Falls, and the Boat Float. There are 2 small and 2 big kayaks available, and 2 adult (sml/med) and 3 child (8-12yr approx) lifejackets in the shed. If walking to town, there is a walkway from the cul-de-sac, making it a short 10 minute walk to Taupō Central cafes, restaurants, Amphitheatre, and other amenities. If you enjoy making your own coffee, there is a espresso coffee machine and grinder, or plunger available. There are many options to buy your own fresh coffee beans in Taupō. A popular roaster we use is Sacred Grounds, 44 Nukuhau Street, a short walk away. Parking at our house is either under the carport, on the driveway, or in the cul-de-sac outside the property.
By negotiation only, we may allowed 1 pet dog. We are fully fenced, one side 1 metre with some parts slightly less, and the other borders 2 metres. Only permitted in summer months due to the cold, as the dog is not allowed inside and will have to sleep in the guest’s car. The deck has a gate to contain dog on there also, as well as a portable baby security gate that can be put up as a barrier between inside and ouside.
