Downstairs Fully equiped kitchen, and spacious open-plan Dining and Lounge with super comfortable twin leather couch set, (can be converted to two singles beds). Ranch sliding doors open out on to your Patio, (with BBQ and outdoor furniture), with incredible views of the mountains and lake and right above the famous Frankton Track cycle/walkway, on the Lake's edge.
2nd bedroom king bed can be split (2 singles) by prior arrangement
There is a Self-contained studio apartment next door also, suitable for a couple, with a king bed, bathroom, kitchenette, and balcony, potentially available to book separately (check availability).
On the central level is your internal access garage with full laundry, washing machine, separate dryer and laundry tub. There is also a third half-bathroom with toilet and hand basin on this level and your external access entrance private foyer.
Currently there are some Luxury Apartments being constructed on the neighbouring property. This doesn't affect the fantastic views from the Apartment of the Lake and the Mountains, but there could possibly be some noise pollution during the day dependent on where contractors are working on the huge (63 Apartment) site, (potentially between 7.30am and 6pm, Queenstown Council Rules), however they usually start later and finish earlier. There is no work on a Sunday or Public Holidays. As at August 2026, the civil, earth works are completed but there is still the potential for carpentry noise.
3.6km 5mins to Airport, 4.2 kms to the centre of town, 8-9 minutes by car, or you can walk/bike the famous Frankton Walkway Lakeside all the way into town, only seconds from the apartment, & there is a bus stop at the road side entrance :)
We have a year 2000 Toyota 3 door, (suitable for two occupants only), RAV4, SUV all wheel drive (4X4) with roof racks, and snow chains we rent with the property, (please check availability). It is an automatic and easy to drive and reliable, an oldie but a goodie and perfect for Queenstown Roads
If you are over 25, and have a current drivers license, you can hire it for the day/nights of your stay for just $59.00 per day, (a run through the carwash, and topping it back up to full before you leave it parked back at the apartment when you leave on your last day. The Airport bus leaves the Airport every 15 minutes for only a few dollars and the bus stop is at the property driveway entrance. It is a NZ$30-$40 Taxi to and from the Airport.
You do need to pay a deposit of NZ$500, as this is our insurance excess for any accidents, it it full commercial comprehensive insurance, (but unlike a car rental company), you get this back after your stay... if you are happy with this, the car can be booked at this time, and you are welcome to use it during your stay :) You are also welcome to take the car if you are under 25, but the bond then increases to our insurance excess of $1000. Queenstown is a magnificent place to visit all year round. The winter has wonderful snow skiing on multiple mountains, great restaurants, biking and hiking and in summer replace your snow skis with water skis and do it all again!
