Lake Atiamuri is the third of the seven hydro dams on the Waikato River and is central to four great water-skiing lakes (Lake Ohakuri, Lake Atiamuri, Lake Whakamaru, and Lake Maraetai) all within 30 minutes drive.
Atiamuri Village is at the southern end of The Waikato River Bike Trail and was originally developed for the workers building the local hydro dams. The village is around 30 minutes from Taupo and Rotorua and about 20 minutes south of Tokoroa.
The house is 700m from the Lake Atiamuri boat ramp and less than 10 minutes to the Lake Ohakuri boat ramp. There is a children's playground located in the tree covered common.
