Collect tuatuas and mussels at low tide and explore the many beautiful native bush walks at Milnthorpe Reserve. The iconic Mussel Inn pub is only 5 minutes drive away where you can enjoy great food and live music. Only a short drive to Collingwood if you need to replenish your grocery/alcohol supplies, fuel up or enjoy a cafe meal. Takaka township is 20 minutes drive and has a great selection of artisan shops, fantastic eateries, or you can do gin tasting, visit the local Saturday market or check out the fabulous art galleries.
You have exclusive use of the roadside yard. Please do not go through the beachfront property "Beachfront Bliss" as this is exclusively for Beachfront Bliss guests only. Your access to the beach is via the public access way next to the property.
Close to water and not fully fenced. Please supervise your children at all time. Please note: Beachside Gem is one house back from the beach (the front house is Beachfront Bliss - also on Airbnb).
