Summary: The door was open when we first walked in. It didn’t latch right. The sink spayed on my phone when I washed my face (the only concern hotel staff addressed was the sink) There was hair in the bed and towels. Syrup on the top blanket. The tv didn’t work. Had breakfast at 8am and it wasn’t great . The potatoes were hard. Addressed some concerns to the hotel staff at checkout and she said she would send maintenance to fix the sink but didn’t address my other concerns. Told me to contact hotels.com I told her I wasn’t looking for compensation just wanted to bring it to their attention bc I’ve stayed previously and this was the first poor experience When I contacted hotels.com I was told the hotel representative said ‘they were told these issues had to be addressed during the stay..’ (I wasn’t told that) and said ‘each room was cleaned. ‘ Wasn’t looking for anything but a proactive, positive response and resolution to the issues. They were dismissive and didn’t tell me they would fix the issues. I’ll probably stay somewhere else in the future bc they seemed annoyed that I brought these issues to their attention; rather than have a game plan to improve. disappointed bc I’ve stayed here 5 times before and had good experience.
