Welcome to Knasgowa! - Knasgowa, meaning "Heron" in the Cherokee language, symbolizes peace and harmony. We decided to name the cabin as a tribute to these birds that often fish behind the cabin.
This private (Direct Access) lakefront retreat features 1 king bedroom with 2 Queen over Queen bunk rooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests and 2 dogs. Situated on 8 private waterfront acres with just a few steps to Douglas Lake makes the backyard truly feel endless.
You'll never need to leave the cabin as Knasgowa is jam packed with fun activities and amenities for the whole family.

Driveway At The Lake House
* The driveway is steep but there is plenty of space to use as a turn around to pull down the driveway driving forward and turn around at the base of the driveway to pull out forward. In the winter time, 4WD might be needed if there is snow or ice on the driveway.

* We provide a pack and play and high chair.

* Your lock code will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. You do not need to pick up any keys.
