When location matters Tay Rustic Cottage offers it all. For those who are not familiar, Tay Street is an iconic family friendly street and is very popular with locals. It is a hop skip and a jump to one of New Zealand's best surf beaches. Surf life saving patrol flags within walking distance at Omanu Surf club.
Steps away is ‘event central’, Blake Park. Award winning cafes, Mixture and Tay Street Cafe are around the corner for those morning coffees and brunch. 15 minute walk (or short Lime scooter) to Mount Maunganui's main boutique shopping street and many high quality restaurants.

Entertainment plus at your back door! For those beautiful sunny days, enjoy the best of The Mount's soft white sandy beaches, Tay Streets iconic surfing spot and walking trails. Wet day plans include Bayfair shopping, Main Street shops, Hot pools, Bay Wave with Hydroslides, Timezone, Movie Theatres, are all a short drive.
