Our crib is a cute 1980's cottage right in the heart of Naseby. On the flat, so it's an easy walk to the heart of town. With a playground, small bike park and tennis courts on the boundary of the property, Kombi Cottage offers fantastic carefree holidays for the whole family. Please note - from April 2020 we will only have 2 x queen beds. The bunks are to be removed. Fully self-contained, you'll have everything you need - including a barbeque and some outdoor toys, so the only thing you need to bring is your food, togs (or woolly hats and gloves) and your bikes. All beds have electric blankets, so no matter where you sleep it's warm and cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can eat in. Or, for a real break away from it all - dine out at the superb Black Forest Cafe or at the Royal Hotel - serving excellent pub food. There is a log fire and plenty of firewood to keep you toasty warm in winter, and an aircon unit to keep you cool in summer. Naseby is a quiet, relaxed village in the heart of the Maniototo, but don't let the tranquility and peace fool you. There is plenty on offer - year round, so why not stay an extra night: - a very popular and safe swimming dam; - some of Central's best walking and cycling tracks and trails; - some of the finest fishing spots are only a few minute's drive away; - 4 wheel drive adventures; - sled dogging; - winter ice skating; - winter luge (and the summer luge is coming!); - international standard all-year-round curling rink; - only 10 minutes from Ranfurly and the rail trail; - easy travel to other Maniototo gems and only an hour to Alexandra; - golf club minutes away; If arranging a winter booking, please make sure you have chains and are prepared for winter driving conditions. Also, please be aware that weather conditions may cause road closures - these are usually sorted the same day, but may delay your departure - or arrival. We can not take any responsibility for this. Special conditions: Smoking allowed outside only, please remove butts. Pets only by prior arrangement. Please clean up after your pets. No pets allowed in bedrooms or on furniture. Please note the fencing is quite low in places and may not be suitable for larger or jumpy dogs. There is a $20 per stay per pet charge for pets. Continental breakfasts can be ordered by prior arrangement. Unless previously arranged, please check in after 3pm, and check out no later than 10am. Thanks! There is a $20 early/late checkout fee. Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$50.00 per stay); Linen/towels (included).
