Enjoy a restful time away in our recently renovated original Green Keepers home in Methven township at the base of Mount Hutt Ski-field. Whether you are looking for an active outdoor adventure or prefer to spend your time peacefully recharging this location is ideal. It’s resides next to the the well renowned Methven Golf course, a 5 minute drive from the new Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa and 20 minutes to the base of Mount Hutt.
The house features a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals with ease and includes an air fryer as well as a fabulous BBQ grill. All linen and towels are provided for your stay, ensuring a comfortable experience. The spacious dining area, with a large dining table, is perfect for family meals, while the separate cosy lounge comes complete with its own bar. For entertainment, enjoy Freeview TV, Netflix, and Chromecast capabilities, as well as complimentary Starlink unlimited Wi-Fi.
The home can accommodate up to 10 guests. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two king single beds, and the third bedroom offers a double bed and a bunk set. There's also a smaller fourth bedroom with a bunk set for overflow guests. The house has one bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and toilet. There isn't a laundry available here, but there are two laundromats in Methven for use with quick washers/dryers. Each room offers a heater, with a log burner in the dining room and a heat pump in the lounge for additional comfort.
The Greenkeepers Bach is nestled on the outskirts of town beside the Methven Golf Course, just a short walk to the town's amenities, or a short drive to the Opuke Thermal Pools, Mt Hutt, Rakaia Gorge, and the multitude of walkways and adventure activities available in Mid Canterbury. There are two bikes available for use during your stay if you'd like to bike into town and e-bikes are available on request. There is also a carport available for smaller vehicles but wouldn't be suitable for large SUV's or those with roof racks on.
