Brand new on the vacation rental market, Duffy Street Bungalow, circa 1900, has beautiful, original heart pine wood floors, high ceilings, is bright & airy and decorated with original & unique furnishings/artwork. Freshly painted, updated and decorated, this house is clean, fresh, comfortable and roomy. Located 4 blocks from Forsyth Park, this house is within walking/biking distance to River Street and all downtown activities. The wrap around front porch offers relaxing seating and the backyard provides a scenic, private & shady patio environment with back porch and umbrella table to relax & have a cool drink. With 4-5 Bedrooms/2 full Bathrooms, Duffy Street Bungalow is stocked with everything you'll need to have a fabulous vacation, including very comfy beds, linens, towels, all kitchen appliances/utensils, etc.!! The fenced private backyard provides a safe environment for you, your dog or your kids, behind locked gates with 3 parking spots.
Duffy Street Bungalow has all the ingredients required for a superb SAFE environment and neighborhood, clean, fully stocked, and located close to everything. With a brand new house alarm, high speed WIFI, Smart TV, expanded cable channels, music channels, Netflix, Amazon, Blue Ray DVD player, and reclining leather sectional sofa, the living room provides a friendly family environment to relax and enjoy. The oversized kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to cook homemade meals, complete with coffee maker, blender, etc. The parlor is beautifully appointed with a fireplace (non-working, but pretty), original 1900 sliding double doors which provide additional privacy, and a very comfortable pull out couch when elderly or extra guests come. Upstairs features all 4 high ceiling bedrooms, 3 of which are large and feel like each is the master. All are decorated eclectically, with special attention always given to very comfy, plush beds. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, expanded cable channels and more than adequate closet space. A separate laundry room downstairs will offer you full size machines so don't overpack. A pack-n-play crib is available for extra small guests.
New landscaping and decorative lighting will offer gorgeous night time ambient lighting of both front and back yard, making sitting outside in the evening a serene and relaxing experience, with huge oak trees in front yard.
