This was worker's accommodation on a dairy farm and so has been well lived in, a small, older house that is clean, warm and comfortable. A guest described it as staying in your Great-aunt's 70's decor house.
It is located on the coast road (SH6) about 1 minute's drive north of Hari Hari township and looks out to our paddocks so you are likely to see cows and sheep across the lawn, also ducks, pukeko kea and weka. Wild goats and occasionally deer can often be seen in the paddock and bush across the road. In season whitebait can be gathered from the river mouth about 25 minutes drive west, we have nets you can use if you want to try this fresh local treat (Sept - Nov).
There is a woodburner with plenty of wood and coal and an electric heater plus insulation, so it is cozy in the frequent west coast rain.
WIFI and good selection of movie DVD's but no broadcast television. Also a selection of board games. Outside smoker's seating.
We provide daily fresh farm milk and eggs, plus bread, cereals, condiments and cooking essentials for breakfast, all included in the price.
Two bedrooms, (one double bed and two single beds).
Fenced section and garage.
Pets welcome.
