Te Puia's geysers are around ten minutes, and the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and central Rotorua about twelve. Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are over on the western side of town, around twenty minutes away. The Blue Lake and Lake Tarawera are also an easy drive for a swim or a paddle.
Getting Around:
