Hi, I’m Lady Geraldine. I’ve been lovingly restored & beautifully transformed into Geraldine’s newest (14+) boutique stay. And I must say I’m looking rather fabulous. Im a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom beauty! (Three showers, 2 toilets). Book all of me - my villa and guest house, gorgeous gardens, New Zealand made cedar hot tub, beautifully dressed beds, cosy wood fire, air conditioning and heating for every season. I've thought of all the little things - your only job is to settle in & enjoy me. Love Lady G.
Perfectly positioned between Christchurch and the Mackenzie Country, Lady Geraldine makes a beautiful base for exploring some of the South Island’s most spectacular landscapes. Lake Tekapo, the turquoise lakes, alpine scenery and internationally renowned dark skies of the Mackenzie Basin are all within easy reach, making a day trip every bit as memorable as the destination itself.
The property brings together the beautifully restored main villa and a separate private guesthouse, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. It’s an ideal arrangement for friends travelling together, special celebrations, family groups with older children, or couples who appreciate having both shared spaces and a little extra privacy.
Outside, Lady Geraldine is surrounded by gorgeous established gardens, with plenty of inviting places to sit, unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting. At the heart of the outdoor space is our stunning New Zealand-made Stoked stainless-steel hot tub—the perfect spot for a long soak beneath the stars after a day exploring the region.
Inside, every room has been thoughtfully considered, with beautiful, high-quality furnishings, generous living spaces and all the comforts you would expect from a boutique stay. The villa is warm, welcoming and fully equipped, so whether you’re sharing a long lunch, settling in by the fire or enjoying a relaxed evening together, everything you need is close at hand.
