The Anzac Atelier — A Considered Heritage Suite | Apartment in Auckland
2 Bedroom Apartment in Auckland Central Business District, Auckland
A beautifully considered heritage suite within 45 Anzac Avenue`s century-old walls. Chopard Swiss amenities, Illy barista coffee, SMEG and Miele appliances, and a Rega P1 turntable throughout — every detail resolved with the same quiet attention as a master craftsman`s workshop. Britomart`s celebrated boutique dining and shopping is two minutes on foot. Refined, thoughtful, and entirely without compromise.
ABOUT THIS SPACE
The suite
An atelier is a place where things are made with care — where the quality of the work matters more than the speed of it. The Anzac Atelier takes its name from that idea, and the suite itself reflects it in every detail: nothing here feels rushed, nothing feels like an afterthought, and the cumulative effect of so many small, considered choices is a space that rewards genuine attention.
The kitchen is equipped with a SMEG oven and cooktop, Miele fridge/freezer, and ASKO dishwasher — each chosen as much for its design integrity as its performance. The Illy barista machine is loaded with curated blends, ready from arrival. Soho Rose Tablekraft cutlery is set at the dining table, and a Voila iron and JVD Velyss garment steamer are provided for guests whose stays call for genuine care in presentation.
The living area`s Rega P1 turntable, paired with a Marshall speaker, is perhaps the suite`s clearest expression of its underlying philosophy — analogue, deliberate, and entirely uninterested in shortcuts. Samsung Smart TVs are equally available for those who prefer to stream.
Both bedrooms are dressed in premium hotel-quality linens, with the master bedroom served by its own ensuite and the second by a well-appointed main bathroom — both featuring underfloor heating for warmth underfoot. Air conditioning throughout ensures comfort regardless of season, applied with the same quiet consistency as everything else in the suite.

Amano, Mr Morris, Ortolana, and Kingi at The Hotel Britomart anchor an exceptional dining scene, while flagship boutiques from Maggie Marilyn, Karen Walker, Zambesi, and Deadly Ponies line the cobblestoned laneways.
The precinct`s own history — a derelict cluster of heritage warehouses transformed through careful, considered restoration into one of the country`s finest urban spaces — mirrors the philosophy of the suite itself.
Commercial Bay and the Viaduct Harbour are a short walk, as is the Auckland Ferry Terminal for Waiheke Island and Hauraki Gulf services. Albert Park and the Auckland Art Gallery are a few minutes uphill, and the Sky Tower is five minutes on foot.
