The reserve across the road from the settlement is a great spot for families to play and picnic.
For day trips, you'll be just 20-minutes drive from Whitianga township and within an hour’s drive, you’ll be able to get to places like Hahei, Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. Travelling in the opposite direction, find the quaint little town of Coromandel, with Matarangi and Whangapoua nearby and don’t forget to check out the magical and secluded New Chums beach!
