3 Bedroom House in Torbay, Auckland
Single level three bedroom unit (0ne of two). Two double bedrooms and a single which has internal access to the single garage. Additional tandem carport space in front of garage.
Waiake (Torbay) boat ramp is at the end of the street and the beach and Torbay Sailing Club is an easy 5- 10 minute walk from the house. Torbay shops are a few minutes walk in the other direction and Long Bay Beach is a 20 minute walk away. Albany shopping mall is 8-10 minutes by car and Auckland CBD between 20 - 45 minutes depending on traffic. There is a well stocked 4 Square in the Torbay village shops and the closest supermarket is the Long Bay New World which is up in the new housing development area behind Long bay beach. There are also New World and Countdown supermarkets in Browns Bay.

Torbay has a shopping village on Beach Road just above Long Bay, with several other restaurants and shops nearby. The village has a well-appointed medical centre and pharmacy and supporting health services, including a lab, physiotherapists and skin clinic. There is a Four Square grocery store, butchery, greengrocer, dairy, liquor store, bakeries and cafes, restaurants and takeaway shops, and a couple of real estate offices. Many other services are provided within the village. We have four hairdressers, a Chinese acupuncturist, and a dog grooming salon. Most of the businesses are charged through their council rates to fund the Torbay Business Association whose purpose is to support business development in the Village.
Attractions: Long Bay Beach and Okura Regional Park attracts more than a million visitors a year, offering safe swimming, large bookable picnic areas, and a playground. The sweeping beach adjoins a marine reserve. Hiking trails along the cliffs offer spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf. Two other smaller beaches in Torbay include Waiake and Winston’s Cove, popular with locals for fishing, picnicking, swimming and sailing.
Leisure and sport: Torbay has a tennis club and a youth sailing club. Residents are very active - walking, jogging, swimming, sailing, kayaking and kite-boarding year round. Waiake Beach has a boat ramp and another is available at the north end of the beach, off Rock Isle Road.
Transportation links: Torbay is a 30 minute drive from the Central Business District and is linked to downtown via major express bus routes along the Northern Busway.
