Positive: A small backpackers hostel off the main streets but close enough to get to the lakeside in 5-10 minutes walk. I stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience - the staff and the guests were both really lovely and welcoming. There is a family vibe to the place and I really respected how the owners and staff are working towards maintaining that and the safe base for all those who stay there. There is a lovely communal area with a working kitchen, big wooden dining table and a cosy living space - sofas, games and wood burner that all adds to the family round the fireplace charm of this place. Parking outside was great but also lots of street parking around as well so not a problem at all in either regard. I was in a 6 bed mixed room in an adjacent building which was accessible by key. The beds were comfortable and warm with all linen provided and there were places to hang up or place clothing if you were there for longer periods. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend especially for solo travellers looking for a safe and welcoming community vibe!
