This Russell holiday home offers bright and cosy open plan living, flowing out onto the decking overlooking Oneroa Bay (Long Beach). “Quintessential Kiwi Bach”
This simple classic 1960s Kiwi Bach, with the most phenomenal view, is centrally located on the waterfront of Russell’s beautiful sandy beach, Long Beach.
The Bach has two bedrooms, a queen room and a bunk room, plus a pull-out couch in the lounge, if needed.
Updated kitchen(no dishwasher), open plan living/ dining, with a beautiful gated deck(dog and toddler friendly), to extend the indoor outdoor flow.
It is approx 15 minute walk over the hill to Russell’s waterfront and many cafes, or enjoy a coffee at Carl Coffee Cart a 5 minute walk down Long Beach.
Off street parking, with large unfenced front and back yard.
There is a washing machine and dryer under the Bach for guests to use.
Please note the beach is only 15 metres away, across a narrow no exit road.
Throw the deck chairs out on the lawn and soak up the sun before taking a dip at the beach across the road, no more than 20m away! Russell wharf is less than a 5min drive away and is the pick up point for the many adventures out on the water. How you want to explore the islands is just a matter of choosing. Speed off into the distance on a trip to the famous Hole in the Rock, take it easy on a sailing trip , join a dolphin swimming cruise or even catch a fish. At the end of the day take a stroll along the beach after a good meal and watch the sun go down or just unwind on the veranda with a glass of wine.
