Welcome to our little piece of paradise nestled amongst historic trees in a secluded part of Waiheke Island. This property is ideal for an extended family looking for a home-away-from-home holiday. There is ample of room for everyone to relax on bean bags on the sprawling lawns, by the pool or in one of two sitting rooms. Outdoor dining can be from the front or back of the house depending on the sun. There is even a baby grand piano to tinker on making it an entertainer's delight!
This property has been listed with an agency whilst the owners have been overseas but from 01/02/24 will be managed privately again so you will not be charged additional booking fees.
The house comes with all the toys to make your stay enjoyable, including two kayaks (already by the water), boogie boards, a surf board and there is also selection of children’s toys & DVDs for entertaining the kids (under 10 years).
The open kitchen is fully equipped including a Kitchen-Aid, bread-maker, slow-cooker, pasta-maker (you name it, we probably have it!) and Nespresso coffee machine and ample of supplies to make your holiday more enjoyable. You simply need to walk in... and relax!
Like a number of properties on the island, our driveway is steep but is sealed and there is plenty of room for turning and parking for 2 or 3 vehicles. The bus stop is conveniently located 50 metres away if required.
We want to reiterate that this is a much-loved family home ideally suited to families looking for a comfortable and relaxing island escape and is NOT a party house. We do have tenants who live in a self-contained 'wing' of the house (with its own entry and entertaining area) that we assure you, you won't see/hear as the property is large but we still ask that any prospective renters respect their privacy.
Pets are considered and by negotiation. A small fee of $50 per pet per stay will be charged.
Minimum stay:
• 3 nights all Public holiday weekends
• 2 nights at all other times
Linen (sheets, bath towels, tea-towels etc) provided. Please bring own beach towels.
Check-in strictly 4pm. Check-out strictly 10am. Please note that due to the number of back-to-back bookings we have over summer we request that these times are adhered to.
Extras: Cleaning (Required, $130.00 per stay); Linen (Required, $120 per stay); Security Bond which covers issues with water pump; spa & tanks (Required, NZ$500 per stay). VRBO will refund bond within 14 days.
Please note we have a standard VRBO cancellation policy in place; should you need to cancel your holiday due to Covid19 restrictions we are happy to oblige.
