Comfortable, cosy, quirky retro bach situated in beautiful Duncan Bay, start of the Nydia Track. Less than 90 minutes drive from Nelson/Blenheim on a tar sealed road. Easy access to boat ramp and great swimming at the Duncan Bay picnic reserve. Easy 15 minute walk to Pipi Beach through native bush, nikau palms.
Off road vehicle and boat parking onsite, fully fenced. Fish filleting bench and running water behind boat shed.
BBQ available.
Two bedrooms upstairs, master bedroom has a King bed, two single beds in the second room. Beds are made up with mattress protectors, duvets and pillows. Please bring your own linen (towels, sheets, tea towels).
Open plan living downstairs, kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom/toilet, laundry. Shower over shub.
TV “On Demand” available, DVD player on side of TV with a large selection of DVDs. Limited Wi-Fi account.

No shop at Duncan Bay, please bring your own provisions. We offer complimentary tea and coffee.
SAFETY: Small children would need close supervision as an unfenced creek runs through the property.
No pets – we are “bird nerds” and enjoy all birds and wekas around our bach.
Note: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to clean the bach, do the dishes and put them away before you leave and take away all rubbish. We rely on guests to follow this procedure as it is not always possible to service the bach between stays. Cleaning products under the sink in the laundry, vacuum cleaner/mop provided in the linen cupboard.
