Situated on the Little Pigeon River, it offers a welcome refuge from the crowds of Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, while still being just minutes from each. The cabin also enjoys close access to the Greenbrier entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, just two miles upstream and home to one of the Park’s best swimming holes, the hydraulics, only 100 yards inside the park boundary and enjoyed almost daily by the owner (in summer, of course).
If you’re looking for your perfect basecamp, this is it. Enjoy hikes in the park to Ramsey Cascades, an old farmstead up Porter’s creek, or take the long way up to the peak of Le Conte. Summer activities include tubing down the river, collecting fireflies, and blue-ribbon trout fishing right outside your door! And when you’re done with the day's activities, relax in the hot tub or sit on the deck overlooking the river while steaks sizzle on the grill.
