This is a great place for couples and/or families too. Ideal as a base to explore Marlborough or just as an overnight stay en route to Christchurch or Picton. Just 20 minutes from Blenheim and 45 minutes from Picton by car. Ideal stop over before or after a trip on the ferry.
We have recently upgraded the bathroom for the 2017-2018 season.
The cottage is situated in a rural setting, on a vineyard, 5km north of Seddon. There is a huge garden for the kids to play in, two patios, one for morning breakfast and one for evening sun- downers and if you are lucky you will hear and see the melodious sounds of the native Tui and Bellbirds.
We offer a complimentary wine tasting for bookings of 2 nights or more, which must be booked in advance. Please advise us when booking. We have a range of Stanley Estate wines to taste such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris,Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir and two lesser known varieties Albarino and Lagrein and last but not least a delicious dessert wine.
Special conditions:
No open fires please due to fire ban. Smoking only allowed on concrete areas outside house. Please extinguish cigarettes carefully.
Portacot and highchair are available on request.
