Come and stay on our beautiful 6 acre avocado orchard, with large trees to picnic under and inner harbour views with stunning sunsets.
There is a shared fire pit with seating where you can enjoy the rural setting, a glass of wine or roast some marshmallows.
There is a large grass area where you can enjoy using our outdoor games or a ball game. If the kids would like a fun ride around the orchard in the trailer behind the ride on, we can make this happen too.
There is an above ground pool to help cool you down on hot days.
We have free range chickens wandering about and two cats, Cosmo and Tenzing.
The bungalow can sleep up to 7 people. There is a king sized bed in the main bedroom and a bunk with a double bed on the bottom and a single on the top in the second bedroom and a double bed in the third bedroom. We can also set up a port-a-cot if you need it. the offer has open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. There is one full bathroom plus another seperate toilet. There is a washing machine and dryer. There is a big deck with comfortable seating, dining table and a BBQ. There is lots of car parking & room to park a boat.

Close by is a forest trail leading to Kaiate Falls with a swimming hole, picnic area and stunning views.
Walk up or around the iconic Mount Maunganui / Mauao, swim or surf at Main Mount beach or perhaps a soak in the Mount Hot Pools (16km).
Enjoy a swim or walk on the beautiful Papamoa Beach (9km).
The Welcome Bay shops (4km) has a 4 square, chemist, petrol station, bakery and takeaway options.
Papamoa Plaza and Fashion Island (8km) and have a great selection of shops, 2 supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and takeaways.
You are spoilt for choice with four golf courses close by, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Omanu and Summerhill Estate.
Waimarino Water & Adventure Park is a great day out for the whole family & friends.
Close to event locations: ASB Baypark (3km), Tauranga Domain (7km), Baycourt (7km), Blake Park (8km).

We live on the orchard too so we are available at most times if you need anything - but we are far enough away from the bungalow to give you privacy.
To make your packing easier, we provide all the linen and towels for your stay. There is also tea, coffee, hot chocolate and pantry staples for your use. When it’s avocado season, there will be freshly picked avocados and if the chickens are laying, there will be some free range eggs.
There is no WIFI however you should have get good phone signal if you want to hot spot from your phone.
Cleaning is an additional $125 per stay and will be added to your booking.
Children are very welcome however the property is not fenced and there are some steep areas, wetlands and above ground pool that is not fenced but meets council regulations.
As this is a working orchard there may be times when orchard equipment is being used but we will always endeavour to keep noise to a minimum during your time with us.
We have queen bee hives on the property, they go happily about their business and are awesome to watch.
