We have 2 bedrooms - master (queen bed), 2nd bedroom has bunk beds and the sitting room has a fold out sofa bed (double).
With easy access to Whatuwhiwhi Beach (850m away) and Tokerau beach (1.3km down the road) makes this bach perfect for any beach day! The Karikari Peninsula is a unique region of Northland that wants you coming back for more! Whether it's fishing, surf casting, kayaking, paddling boarding, water skiing, surfing, golf or wine tastings.
Also central to Matai Bay, Rangiputa (White sands), Karikari Beach, Puheke Beach and Puheke Hill lookout which has expansive views of the Peninsula.
Carrington Estate Resort is a 5-star resort that includes a restaurant & bar that overlooks the golf course (designed by American golf course designer Matt Dye). The Estate is also home to the enchanting Karikari Estate Vineyard, Cellar door and Cafe less than 2km from the bach on Matai Bay Rd.
Enquire within for kayak hire (we have 2) - $25 per item (hire as a pair) which includes lifejackets/dry bags usage. Please bring your own tie downs.
Cape Reinga and Te Paki sand dunes are around 90 mins away.
Mangonui, is 25 mins away that includes the best fish & chip shop in NZ - Mangonui Fish Shop; The Village Creamery amongst other excellent eateries and shopping with Saturday Markets.
Nearest supermarkets Pak' n Save Kaitaia (35mins), Coopers Beach 4square (20mins) or Mangonui 4square.
There is unlimited fibre internet at the bach.
Beds have mattress protectors, pillows and duvet inners but linen is not provided - please come with sheets (Queen, double and 2 single beds), pillowcases and towels. Alternatively linen can be provided for $15 per person. Please request this while booking.
