Welcome to Matua, our bright and sunny peninsula suburb i the heart of Tauranga. Our family home is the perfect spot to get away by the sea with your own family for a fun and relaxing vacation. Enjoy outdoor dining looking out to the peaceful water views, with plenty to keep the family entertained. 8 ft netted trampoline and children's toys are available for your use. Please message us if you would like to bring your pet for your stay, pets may stay at our discretion (sorry no cats due to allergies). The house is situated down a long driveway making it safe for the kids, away from the main road. A grassy section means there is plenty of room for kids to play and enjoy the outdoors, while also being a short walk or drive from the local park, playgrounds, beach, boat ramp and sports fields. If your bringing the boat or jet ski there is room to park in front of the house and many local boat ramps close by to launch. A short drive to the Taranga CBD (10 minutes) or beautiful Mount Maunganui (20 minutes). Check out the shopping at Bayfair or Tauranga Crossing, all 20 minutes drive. Walk or cycle along the Matua waterfront with stunning views from the Kaimai ranges to Mount Maunganui and the Tauranga port, see the "giraffes" and cruise ships arrive and depart. Head RIGHT out of the driveway towards Manuwai drive and you will find two coastal access stairways, check it out at low tide (which you can easily check from the house!) and walk around the peninsula. Countdown BURETA is a 5 min drive for your food needs.
