It’s just a 20-minute drive from the Barn to Christchurch city centre, where you’ll find a great range of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as some great activities to embrace the old and the new of this rebuilding city.

For a fantastic day out with great food and spectacular scenery, hop in the car and make the 73km journey to Akaroa. This French settlement is steeped in history and offers everything from waterfront dining through to dolphin swimming!
