The Space:

The main living area is open plan and bright, with comfortable seating, a dining space for shared meals, and windows that bring in natural light along with glimpses of the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday holiday cooking, whether that’s simple breakfasts or casual dinners at home.
Outdoor areas are a key part of how the home is used. One deck sits off the living area and offers a pleasant spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. A second deck is positioned beside the swimming pool and works well for supervising children, sunbathing, or spending time outdoors together. The pool area is private and functional rather than resort-style, and best enjoyed as part of a relaxed family stay.
There are four bedrooms across the home, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups travelling together. In addition to the main living space, there are extra lounges and quiet corners that work well for reading, working, or winding down after a day out on the island.

Guest Access:
Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:30 am.
Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged for a fee, depending on bookings before and after your stay.
Guests have full use of the home, swimming pool, decks, outdoor seating areas, and designated parking during their visit.
The Neighborhood:
Villa Valmont is located in a central area of Waiheke, making it easy to reach several parts of the island within a short drive. Palm Beach is close by and is a popular, sheltered swimming beach with soft sand and a relaxed atmosphere. Nearby you’ll find the Palm Beach Store for casual meals and supplies, as well as Arcadia for relaxed dining close to the beach.
Oneroa Village is also a short drive away and offers cafés, restaurants, galleries, and shops, including favourites such as The Oyster Inn and Fenice. Ostend provides the island’s main supermarket and weekend market, making it a convenient stop for groceries and supplies.
Several well-known vineyards are within easy reach, including Mudbrick, Cable Bay, Tantalus Estate, Stonyridge, Te Motu, Obsidian, Wild Estate, and The Heke Brewery, all offering a mix of dining, tastings, and relaxed outdoor settings.
Getting Around:
On-site parking is available for guests travelling with a vehicle.
Bus services run from Palm Beach through to Onetangi, stopping near major wineries, before continuing into Oneroa Village and on to the passenger ferry terminal. Taxi services operate island-wide but can be limited and expensive during peak periods.
Other Things to Note:
Minimum stays: 7 nights mid-December to mid-January, 3 nights all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.
Pool heating is available for $200, please request at least 3 days before arrival.
The home uses island rainwater tanks, so mindful water use is appreciated.
