Positive: unbeatable location with views out over the bay, easy walking to the shops and cafes. Easy walk to the boat ramp for ferries to Russell or nearby islands. Got one double bedroom and extra shower room on ground floor, to suit less mobile family members (but a few wooden steps up to the front door deck). Traditional kiwi bach holiday experience - with facilities and decor all recently renovated and up to date. A proper kitchen, well equipped. What a joy to sit out on deck (one at ground floor, smaller one beside main bedroom), glass of wine, watch the sea and the boats.
