Summary: It's a beautiful historic building and nice hosts. Beautiful communal lounge and amazing communal kitchen. As a solo female traveler it's hard to make use of these communal spaces at times. It is easier in a backpackers where many people are on their own and it's a hive of activity you don't feel in spotlight. When i arrived there was a man and woman having loud conversation in kitchen area which I could hear clearly from my adjacent room and it put me off going in to make food. Also arriving at night and not knowing area would have been nice if there were amenities there for purchase. Also please supply real milk! I think this is an excellent place for a group to stay. Less so for single traveler
