Our modern cosy Bach with stunning views of the coastline from an upstairs private deck is located only a 2-minute walk from the beach or the playground. The Bach is a two bedroom house with a comfortable sleep out that sleeps 5. The Bach provides a top story lounge overlooking the ocean which is great for watching the waves roll in whether it is a great day or a rough day, or for a more cosy feel the downstairs lounge offers a beachy feel to unwind and relax.
Waverley Beach offers a relaxing, quiet holiday destination for a peaceful getaway with Coleman Ave being the only street with approximately 50 baches belonging to a mix of permanent residents and holiday houses. It also caters to the adventure seeking visitor with the possibility to swim, boogie board surf cast, or enjoy a long stroll on the beautiful rugged black sand beaches.
With a short 5-minute drive you will reach Lake Herengawe (Lupton's Lake) providing great swimming and water activity opportunities, a couple of minutes further you will reach Waverley Golf Club which is ranked in New Zealand's top 10 golf courses. From the beach it is a 10-minute drive to Waverley township which has a well-stocked 4 Square Supermarket, Cafe, Fish & Chip Shop, Library/Information Centre, and town Swimming Pool that is open in the summer.
Waverley Beach is only 30 minutes North of Wanganui, or 30 minutes South of Hawera.
