Waikino - Located in the hills above the Karangahake Gorge, a one hectare property with tranquil surroundings, established trees including a large Kauri and expansive rural views . Ideal location to almost everywhere, Waihi 5 minutes and Waihi Beach 20 minutes away.
The holiday accommodation on the property is called "The Nest" a fully self contained and stand alone cottage and is ideal for a couple with a child or two.

Very quiet neighbourhood, loads of friendly folk, many of whom known for their art & craft, just up the road from the Waikino Tavern, close to the Waikino Train Station & Cafe, Hauraki Rail Trail, Victoria Battery, Owharoa Falls, Falls Retreat Restaurant, Ohinemuri Estate Winery. Waihi township is only a 5 minute drive away which also has many walking areas, a full shopping centre including a large chain supermarket, and we are located 15 minutes from Paeroa in one direction and Waihi Beach 20 minutes in the other direction.
Owners Barb and Glenda live in the main cottage on the property and we have two small dogs, Molly and Minty, so friendly dogs are welcome here. We will generally be around during your stay, but if we are away, then we will have organised someone else to be your point of contact for anything that should arise.
A cleaning fee of $60 per stay applies.
