Mountain bike trails, bush walks and many other nearby activities can fill a day if snow is not your thing. The Waiouru Army Museum is a short drive away and is highly recommended.

The cottage is non smoking but feel free to smoke outside. We'd appreciate you picking up any butts. You must bring your own linen including sheets, blankets, duvet, (or sleeping bag) pillow slips, towels, including hand and tea towels.
Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean, vacuum and leave the cottage as you found it and do the dishes before you leave.
