Take time to relax and unwind in this peaceful rural setting with Lake Ellesmere, one of the premier bird watching areas of NZ right on our doorstep.
The space
We have built this cabin with our recycle, reuse, repurpose ethos that we employ on our little hobby farm. It is full of many environmentally friendly features. We farm sustainably and organically and provide many welcoming spaces for our guests to enjoy which includes a spa area and a bar area along with a large landscaped garden.

We are located in area of outstanding natural beauty but that does mean we are a little off the beaten track. We are a destination and not a motel stop on a main highway. Lake Ellesmere is a premier bird watching area, with many native species in the area.
