Summary: Comfortable house for our family of 6 adults and a 2 year old. Good configuration, great having 2 bathrooms and 2 TV areas. Close to where we used to live and to family who live in Lynmore. Lovely linen on beds and lovely white towels, fantastic oven and great washing machine. Amazing book collection too! House needs a little TLC - ensuite has broken toilet roll holder and toilet seat needs tightening as it moves around a lot, large cobwebs and daddy long leg spiders inside (around the windows in the lounge, around the heat pump in lounge, windows in master bedroom, bedside cabinets in master bedroom). Kitchen tap was very loose and we were scared it might break. Couple of cockroaches in the kitchen and cockroach poo on serving plates etc in the cupboards. Kitchen cupboards were a bit of a jumble with pot lids in various places, pots in other places - I had to have a sort out the first night we arrived so we could cook dinner. Kitchen scissors would be handy and also a white laundry rack would be good for drying clothes on the covered back deck. We had a few showery days and washing lines on the side of the carport got wet and not a lot of sun there, would be good to have an alternative drying area. Disappointed that I had to wash dishes before we could use them and deal with cockroaches and spiders. Perhaps an inside insect spray would be a good idea to keep spiders and insects at bay as they do tend to move in when no one is there especially in Rotorua with the bush.
