Dining out at the local restaurant or hotel are within walking distances Visit the historic Post Office or potter in the antique/collectable shops ( in the weekends). Nearby (2km) are tennis and squash courts, golf course, service station, cafe and another hotel. Ride on the rail trail or fish in the Manuherikia River.
